Information we process

When you create an account, we process your email, account identifier and authentication credentials through Supabase. Google sign-in provides your account email and identity information; we never receive your Google password. Optional age range and gender preferences help personalize book recommendations.

Guest reading progress is saved on your device. Account reading progress, choices, unlocked stories and credit balances may be stored on our servers to provide your library and prevent duplicate charges. Google Play handles payments; we process product identifiers, purchase tokens, transaction status and credit records. We do not receive your payment card number.

Analytics and service security

Google Analytics for Firebase collects an app instance identifier, device and app information, approximate location inferred from masked IP addresses, sessions and structured usage events such as book views, reading choices, login results and purchases. Business analytics does not send your email, account ID, password, story text or free-form input. Advertising ID collection and advertising personalization are disabled. Analytics helps us understand use and improve reliability, not deliver personalized advertisements.

Supabase hosts authentication and application data. Cloudflare delivers our website, artwork and bot protection; service requests can include IP addresses, device/browser information and technical logs for delivery and security. Where an AI-assisted reading feature is used, the necessary story context and selected action are sent to our server and its model provider to generate a response. Do not enter sensitive personal information into reading input.

Use, sharing and retention

We process information to provide authentication, reading, purchases, support, analytics and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal information. Service providers process the information needed for these functions and may process it outside your country. Network transmission uses HTTPS. Account and reading data are kept while your account exists and removed when the account is deleted. Provider security logs and analytics follow their retention controls and are not linked by us to your account email; contact us about privacy requests.

Your choices and deletion

You can read as a guest and omit optional profile information. In the app, open Profile → Account → Delete account. This removes the account, cloud reading progress, credit records and unused balance. Local account data on the requesting device is cleared; uninstall or clear app data on other devices to erase their offline caches. Guest data can be erased by clearing app storage. Deletion is irreversible and does not request a Google Play refund.

You may also request deletion without installing the app through our account deletion page. We verify account ownership before acting. Separate Google/Firebase service records and Google Play records are controlled by those providers.
